Independence Day– Fireworks Photos

Fireworks are a tricky beast. You have to have good timing, and of course know “the secret” (small aperture, long exposure), and some of it is just plain luck. And having a good vantage point. This year I went to the Macy’s fireworks on the river in NYC, so it was super crowded, but it was really fun! Some of the firework photos were actually taken by Jessica Li, by the way, though I processed them. Hope you enjoy the snapshots!
